WHAT: A message from the Mayor and Mayoress of Sheffield, Yorkshire, England dated 11 May 1889 on her second visit home:
"With the Mayor & Mayoress love.
They regret that Miss Edgoose has not a real Lady's Companion but request her to accept the accompanying as a slight substitute.
Sheffield 11 May 1889"
The Mayor at this time was William Johnson CLEGG.
