SARAH LAWSON WESTMORELAND formerly EDGOOSE (Circa 1832-1874)
WHO: Eldest child of Joel EDGOOSE (1804-1883) and his wife Mary Elizabeth Grace JONES (Circa 1814-1888); she married John Metcalfe WESTMORELAND (1841-1891) at Skirbeck, Lincolnshire, on 15 December 1861.
WHAT: In about 1968 Hilda BURTON formerly EDGOOSE (1906-1992) had in her possession a hand-decorated mug bearing the inscription "Sarah Wasplent from JE 1863". Was Sarah WESTMORELAND nee EDGOOSE presented with it by her three year old illegitimate son John EDGOOSE (1860-1943), from her father Joel EDGOOSE (1804-1883), or by one of her brothers?
