The 1901 census reveals that Mabel Florence PANTRY and the Percy William PANTRY who administered her estate in 1963 were siblings.
From the 1911 census of 39 Olive Road, Plaistow, Essex:

Florence PANTRY, sister, aged 42, single, belt machinist at home, born at Canning Town, Essex;

George REID and Mabel Florence PANTRY had a son Leonard on 30 December 1918. Leonard's birth now appears in the March Q of 1919 and September Q of 1926 under both surnames. Presumably the records were amended after the couple's marriage in 1925.
The marriage between George REID and Mabel F. PANTRY was registered in 1925.
