  RUTH ANNIE EDGOOSE or RYAN 1917-1920 Ruth Annie was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA, on 30 November 1917, the daughter of Harry and Emma RYAN [or EDGOOSE]. Harry RYAN had married Emma DITTER on 10 June 1916. As Ruth RYAN of 1825 Burke Street, Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, she died aged 2 years 7 months and 9 days on 8 July 1920, just one day before her mother's death from pneumonia and influenza. Cause of death was sub-acute parenchymatous inflalamation of the stomach, complicated by rachitis. She was buried in Woodmere Cemetery, Detroit, Michigan, on 12 July 1920. Her father had already changed his name to Hary (sic) RYAN, born in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Her mother's maiden name was Emma DITTER, place of birth not given.
