"In the name of God Amen I Richard CRUNKHORN of Moulton in the County of Lincoln yeoman being sick and weak in body but of sound and p(er)fect mind and memory thanks be given to God for the same doe for the putting of my house in order and disposeing of my estate doe hereby give and dispose of the same in manner and form following And first and principally I bequeath my soul into the hands of Almighty God my heavenly father and my body to the earth from when (sic) it was taken there to rest untill my soul and body shall be united and joyned together in the resurrect(i)on and enter into the never fadeing joys of immortality
Item I Give unto my eldest son Richard CRUNKHORN All my Coppyhold houses lands tenements and hereditaments w(here)soev(er) scituate lyeing and being in Moulton aforesaid to him his heires and assignes for ever
Item I Give unto my son John CRUNKHORN all my Freehold houses lands Tenements and hereditaments scituate lyeing and being in Moulton aforesaid to him and his heires for ever
Item I give unto my son Luke the sum of Two hundred and twenty pounds lawfull money of great Brittain to be payd unto him at his age of one and twenty years And if he happen to dye before such age Then I give the said Two hundred and twenty pounds unto my said sons Richard and John and daughter Martha equally to be devided amongst them share and share alike
Item I Give unto my daughter Martha the like sum of Two hundred and twenty pounds to be payd unto her at her age of one and twenty yeares But if shee happen to dye before such her age Then I Give the said Two hundred and twenty pounds (to her hereby given) unto my said Three sons equally to be devided amongst them share and share alike And it is my Minde and will That the said Two hundred and twenty pounds hereby given to my said son Luke ...(illegible) the Two hundred and twenty pounds hereby given to my said daughter Martha shall be put at interest for their respective uses when as soon as may be and the interest money groweing out of their respective legacys aforemenc(i)oned to be for their respective maintenance and educac(i)on untill they shall and doe sev(er)ally attainge to their said respective ages And the rents and p(ro)fitts of all my Coppyhold houses lands and tenem(ent)s given as aforesaid to my said son Richard to goe for his maintenance and educat(i)i)on untill he shall accomplish his said age of one and twenty years And the rents and p(ro)fitts of my said Freehold hoses lands tenements and hereditaments to be for the maintenance and educat(i)on of my said son John CRUNKHORN untill he shall accomplish his full age of one and twenty years
Item I doe hereby maked constitute and appoynt John EDGOOSE my brother in law Guardian and Executor in Trust for all my said children untill they shall attaigne unto their severall respective ages of one and twenty years And if my personall esteststate shall exceed what I have herein already given over and above just debts due & oweing or w(hi)ch shall be due & my funerall expences defrayed Doe hereby desire my said trusty brother to devide the same equally amongst all my said childreen a at their said severall ages and if any of them happen to dye before (attaigning) such their respective ages Then(?) the same to be devided amongst the survivors or survivor of them as they shall severally attaigne their ages as aforesaid And foor my said brother EDGOOSE his paynes and care herein I Give him the sume of two guineas And if my said brother EDGOOSE happen to dye before my said Children arrive to their said age That then I doe hereby give unto him full power and authoritity to nominate and appoynt such and soe many Trustees for soe many of my said Children as shall be liveing at his death and under age as he (at) his discrec(i)on shall thinke fitt to nominate and appoint And I doe hereby make null and voyd all other wills and Testaments by me for(illegible) made And declare these p(re)sentes to be my last will and Testam(en)t and none other In witness whereof I the said Richard CRUNKHORN have hereunto sett my hand and seal the nyne and twentieth day of October in the year of our Lord God One thousand seaven hundred and seaven
