(GRO December Q 1929 [PAGE] Holbeach 7a 545) From the Lincolnshire Press, 25 May 1993, Spalding: "MRS Muriel Elizabeth BAKER, of St Paul's Road, Spalding, died at home on May 13, after an illness of two years, aged 63. Born in Gedney Hill, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice SUTTON of Pinchbeck and was educated at Gedney Hill School. She was a housewife and enjoyed gardening and growing indoor plants. She leaves her husband Mr. Harold Morris BAKER, son Mr Philip Leslie BAKER of Surfleet and daughter Mrs Diane Margaret EDGOOSE of Gosberton. A funeral service was conducted by the Rev Philip NORWOOD at Fulney Church on May 19, organist was Mrs Connie FELL. The internment [sic] of Ashes took place at Fulney Church on April 23. Family Mourners were: Mr H M BAKER (widower), Mr and Mrs P. L. BAKER, Mr and Mrs R. EDGOOSE, Mrs Connie WAND, Miss Sally EDGOOSE, Mr Rober [sic] BAKER, Miss Tracey BAKER, Mr Richard PHILP, Mr David BAKER, Mrs Angela WHEATLEY, Mr Paul BOOTH, Mr Ernest BAKER, Mr Steve BAKER, Mrs Angie BAKER, Carl BAKER, Tanya BAKER, Ronnie GARRARD, Marilynn BAKER, Ellie SHERWOOD, Mr Michael SMITH, Mrs Olive SMITH" Amongst a list of sympathisers were a Mr and Mrs H.
