HENRY CUSTE
In his will made on 24 February 1540/41 William ETGOOSE of Pinchbeck mentions his daughter Beatrix:
"Item I will yt yff my wyffe be with a son I will the sayd son shall have the sayd viij acres to have and to holde the sayd viij acres to the sayd son and to the heyres and assignes for ever And yff my sayd wyffe be with a daughter, then I will that the foresayd viij acres of customary lands remayn to my daughter Beatrix and to her heyres and assygnes aftyr the custome of the sayd manor"
Her mother Margaret ETGOOSE, who was named as the sole executrix, died before she could execute the will. Letters of Administration were granted at Lincoln on 27 March 1540/41 to Henry CUSTE of Pinchbeck who was sworn to administer the goods in the name of Robert REDDE, Anne REDDE, and Beatrix ETGOSE, the sons and daughters of the said deceased persons.
