The Will of Richard ROBINSON (16??-1722) of Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire, butcher, in which his nephew John EDGOOSE and niece Sarah BENNET were beneficiaries.
An Elizabeth, wife of John EDGOOSE, had been buried at Pinchbeck on 1 March 1722/23. It seems possible that this John EDGOOSE was the son of Adlard and Ann EDGOOSE and had wives Eleanor, Elizabeth BAKER, and Sarah BENNET.

"In the name of God Amen I Richard ROBINSON of Pinchbeck in the County of Lincoln Butcher od [sic] make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner & forme following
Impr(im)is I give unto my Neice Jane BENNET The Sum of Ten pounds and unto my Neice Sarah BENNET the Sume of Twenty five pounds to be paid them within Six Months after my decease
It(e)m I give unto my Nephew John EDGOOSE the sum of Ten pounds to be paid him within six Months after my decease
It(e)m I give to my Nephew Richard ROBINSON the sume of Twenty pounds And unto my Neice Ann ROBINSON the Sume of Twenty [Fifteen crossed out] pounds and unto my Neice Elizabeth ROBINSON the Some of ten pounds to be paid unto them respectr ages of One & twenty yeares But if they or any of them dye under that age the Legacy of him her or them Soe dying to Lapse & be to my Ex(ecuto)r & Granson Richard Robinson BIMROSE
It(e)m I give unto my said Granson Rich(ar)d Robinson BIMROSE All the rest of my goods & chattells paying my said Legacies & my debts & funeralls and doe make him sole Ex(ecuto)r of this my Will
It(e)m I give unto my said Granson Richard Robinson BIMROSE and to the heirs of his body lawfully to be begotten All my Lands Tenements & hereditaments as well Freehold or Copyhold and all Reverc(i)ons Remainders of all Lands Tenements & hs to which I am intituled But if my said Granson Richard Robinson BIMROSE shall depart this life without issue of his body lawfully to be begotten or leave issue which shall happen to dye under age & without issue Then my Will is that alall my Lands Tenem(ent)s & hereditaments Reverc(i)ons & Remainders as well freehold as Copyhold shall be sold and the moneys ariseing by such sale To be Equally devided amonst my said Nephews & Neices Jane BENNET Sarah BENNET John EDGOOSE Richard ROBINSON Anne ROBINSON & Elizabeth ROBINSON
And I doe hereby desire authorize & impower my Trusty freind Mr. George BRABBINS to Sell the same Lands Tenements hereditaments Reverc(i)ns & Remainders (on the Contingencies aforesaid) and to distribute the moneys ariseing by Such sales amonst my Nephews & Neices Equally And doe make and appoint him to be Guardian for my said Granson dureing his Minority & untill he shall attaine his age of one & twenty yeares and to pay the Legacies by this my will given unto my said Nephews & Neices out of my Personal Estate And for his trouble I give him Two Guinneys
And lastly I doe hereby revoke disannull and make void all former wills my by me heretofore made
In witnes whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seale the eight & twentieth day of June
