Lettee, daughter of William and Lettee MANYARD living near the Saracen's Head, labourer, was baptised at Whaplode, Lincolnshire, on 25 November 1817.

James Ashby TYGH, a bachelor of full age from Spalding and a hawker by trade, married Letty Elizabeth MANYARD, a spinster of full age, daughter of William and Betsey (sic) MANYARD, at Spalding Parish Church on 23 May 1842. Joseph WILSON was a witness.

No trace of the death of James ASHBY has been found, nor any reason for the dropping of his former surname TYGH.
John HORRY, a 44 year old widowed baker from Navenby and son of John HORRY baker, married Letty Elizabeth ASHBY, a 47 year old Holbeach widow, at Holbeach Parish Church, Lincolnshire, on 20 November 1866. Her deceased father's name was not given. Witnesses were Henry HORRY and Judith Lewin HORRY [his brother and sister-in-law].
