  JOHN URRY or HORRY 1753-1802 John, son of James & Elizabeth URRY (sic) was born at Waddington, Lincolnshire, on 10 June 1753 and baptised there on 30 June the same year. (PR on lincstothepast) Admon for John HORRY "Know all Men by these Presents, that we Elizabeth HORRY of Wellingore in the County of Lincoln widow the Mother of John HORRY late of Navenby in the said County Miller deceased and William WOOLHOUSE and George WOOLHOUSE both of Wellingore aforesaid Farmers are holden and firmly bound unto the Worshipful William BATTINE L.L.D. Vicar General principal of the Diocese of Lincoln lawfully constituted in the Sum of six hundred Pounds, of good and lawful Money of Great Britain, to be paid uunto the said Wiliam BATTINE his certain Attorney, Executors, Administrators, or Assigns : To which Payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, and each of us, severally, for and in the Whole, our Heirs, Executors, and Aministrators, and the Heirs, Executors, and Administrators of each and every of us, firmly by these Presents, SEALED with our Seals, dated the twenty second Day of June in the forty second Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God, of the united (sic) Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, and in the Year of our Lord God, one Thousand, eight Hundred and three THE CONDITION of this Obligation is such, that if the above bounden Elizabeth HORRY do make, or cause to be made, a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods, Chattels, and Credits, of the said deceased, which have or shall come tothe Hands, Possession, or Knowledge of her the said Elizabeth HORRY or into the Hands and Possession of any other Person or Persons for for her, and the same, so made, do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited into the Registry of the Consistory Couourt of Lincoln at or before the twentysecond day of December next ensuing : And the same Goods, Chattels, and Credits, and all other the Goods, Chattels, and Credits of the said deceased, at the Time of his Death, which at any Time after shalall come to the Hands or Possession of the said Elizabeth HORRY or into the Hands or Possession of any other Person or Persons for her do well and truly administer according to the Law ; and further do make, or cause to be made, a true and jusst Account of her said Administration, at or before the twenty second Day of April which shall be in the Year of our Lord, one Thousand eight Hundred and four and all the Rest and Residue of the said Goods, Chattels, and Credits, which shall be found remaining upon the said Administratrix's Account, the first being first examined and allowed of by the Judge or Judges, for the Time being, of the said Court, shall deliver and pay unto such Person or Persons respectively, as the said JuJudge or Judges, by his or their Decree or Sentence, (pursuant to the true Intent and Meaning of an Act of Parliament made in the two-and-twentieth and three-and-twentirth Years of the Reign of his late Majesty King CHARLES the Second, entituled, AN ACT FOR THE BETTER SETTLING INTESTATE ESTATES) shall limit and appoint. And if it shall hearafter appear, that any last Will and Testament was made by the said deceased, and the Executor or Excecutors therein named, do exhibit the same into the said Court, making Request to have it allowed and approved accordingly, if the said Elizabeth HORRY above bounden being thereunto required, do render and deliver the said Letter of Administration, (Approbation of such Testament being first had and made in the said Court) then this Obligation to be void, and of none Effect, or else to remain in full Force Force and Virtue. WOOLHOUSE Sealed and delivered, being first duly stamped, in the Presence of Friskney GUINNESS Surrogate Chasmith ON the Twenty second Day of June 1803 Elizabeth HORRY the Adminisratrix within named, was duly sworn, and made Oath that the Whole of the Goods, Chattels, and Credits of the deceased, did not ammount in Value to six hundred Pounds.
