The registration of the birth in 1850 of Edward Barnes INKLEY has not been traced. If he had been 9 months old on 31 March 1851 (the day of the census) he would have been born on about 1 July 1850.

Note: 13 March 1928 was a Tuesday. The date of his death on a Monday must therefore have been Monday 12 March 1928. Mrs. Pamela WORTLEY is likely to be his adopted daughter Pamela OLDFIELD.
Edwin Barnes INKLEY of 266 Houghton Place, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, USA, died on 12 March 1928 aged 77 years 9 months and 6 days. He had spent the 17 years since his arrival in the USA in Salt Lake City. He was a widower, his wife Jane INKLEY having pre-deceased him. He was born in Lincolnshire, England, on 6 June 1850 [sic], son of William INKLEY and Rebecca née BARNES. His occupation at the time of his death was a janitor for the Owl Drug Co.. He was buried in Salt Lake City Cemetery on 16 March 1928. The informant was Mrs. Pamela WORTLEY of Park City, Utah [his adapoted daughter, see below].
