  JOHN THOMAS BARTIE COTTRELL 1861-1900 John Thomas COTTRELL was born on at Wisbech St. Mary, Cambridgeshire, on 15 April 1861 and baptised there on 30 June. Angelina SYKES described herself as a 26 year old widow when she married John Thomas Bartie COTTRELL, a 31 year old dealer from St. Augustine, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, and son of farmer John COTTRELL, at St. Augustine's Parish Church, Wisbech, on 11 August 1895. She was also of St. Augustine's, Wisbech, daughter of labourer George CROSBY. Witnesses were Harry NEGUS and Nora CROSBY. (GRO 1895 Wisbech 3b 1167) They had two children: Nora Victoria COTTRELL in 1897. (GRO December Q 1897 Wisbech 3b 561) Catherine Ivy COTTRELL in 1899. (GRO March Q 1899 Wisbech 3b 563) John COTTRELL died at 19 Nene Parade, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, on 25 January 1900 aged 38. He was described as a 38 year old licensed victualler.
