Ernest John GREEN, School Master, of 124 Hilda Park, Chester-le-Street, County Durham, signed his last will on 9 June 1969. The testator died on 3 March 1973. Probate was granted at Newcastle-upon-Tyne to his widow Harriet Jessie GREEN, the sole Executrix named in the Will, on 17 May 1973. In the event of his wife not surviving him by one month, he made provisional bequests to his sisters Olive May EDGOOSE (1910-2003) and Nora Ivy WOOD (1916-1974), and an equal amount was to be shared by three of his nieces.
