  DICKENSON, Alfred Rowley (1854-1938) Alfred Rowley DICKENSON was born on 30 July 1854 and baptised at Hobart, Tasmania, on 3 September 1854, son of John and Charlotte DICKENSON. (FamilySearch) Alfred Rowley DICKENSON married Susan Alice BERESFORD at St. Pauls, Glenorchy, Tasmania, on 3 June 1891 according to the rites of the Church of England by licence. Alfred Rowley DICKENSON was a bachelor. He was described as a gardener. Susan Alice BERESFORD was a spinster and the daughter of a gardener. The ministers officiating were H. HEINEKEN-MARTEN and A. BERESFORD. Witnesses were J. H. DICKENSON, Frank DICKENSON, and E. A. DICKENSON. (Tasmanian Archives) He died at Derwent Hospital in Tasmania.
