      Thomas ENSOR and Elizabeth WARD, both of this parish, were married at St. Mary's, Hornsey Rise, Islington, Middlesex, by licence on 29 May 1776. Witnesses were Elen (?) WARD and Robert WARD.

      Elizabeth ENSOR of Park Place was buried at St. Luke, Chelsea, on 7 January 1833 aged 83.

      "This is the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Ensor of Chelsea in the County of Middlesex Widow In the first place I give and bequeath unto my son James Ensor ten pounds for rings and all my Table and Tea Spoons and every other article of plate I may happen to possess at the time of my decease I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Mc Henry my Mahogany double of drawers my clock and six chairs with Cane Seats and Scarf (?)
      I give unto my son George Ensor all and singular my household Furniture and Effects (except as herein particularized and otherwise disposed of) [undecyphered] Table and House Linen I give to my daughter Harriet Ramsay all my wearing apparel noot herein otherwise disposed of I give to my daughter Eliza Hodgkinson the sum of five pounds to her sole and separate use and independant of her present and any future husband and for which her receipt notwithstanding coverture shall be a goood discharge to my Executors And it is my desire that if all the ready Money I possess at the time of my decease together with all the sums due to me should not be sufficient to pay the expence of my funeral and all other necessary expences and also the legacy hereinbefore given to Eliza Hodgkinson then that all my effects of every kind be sold and after payment of all expences the sum remaining be divided equally between my sons James and George and my Daughter Elizabeth share and share alike But if on the contrary after payment of all my expenses and the legacy before given to my said Daughter Eliza out of the ready Money and the debts due to me as aforesaid there should remain any surplus then it is my will that such ssurplus be divided equally between my Sons James and George and my son in law Lewis Mc Henry or such of them as shall survive me And if any one or more of my said sons and daughters should happen to die before me then it is my desire that thhe bequest to him her or them so dying be sold and the produce if not required for expenses be divided equally among the survivors And I appoint my said son George Ensor and my said son in law Lewis Mc Henry Executors of this my will I hereby revoking and making void all former or other wills by me at any time heretofore made I desire this to be my last will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fourth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven - Eliz: Ensor - Signed sealed published and declared by the said Elizabeth Ensor as and for her last will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence and at her request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereon John Larner Carpenter - Henry Walker
      Proved at London 14th February 1833 before the worshipful Charles Cook Dr. of Laws & Surrogate by the Oath of George Ensor the Son the surviving Executor to whom Admon was granted being first sworn duly to Admr"
