  SIDNEY LUCAS EDGOOSE 1893-1893 Sidney (sic) Lucas EDGOOSE was born at 117 Kennington Park Road, London, on 18 June 1893, the illegitimate son of Kate Agnes EDGOOSE, a domestic servant of 46 St. Agnes Place, Kennington Park. (GRO September Q 1893 [----------] St. Saviour 01D 165) According to the Street Directory for 1893, 117 Kennington Park Road was the residence of Henry William CLEMOW. Kate Agnes EDGOOSE described herself as a domestic servant and gave her address as 46 St. Agnes Place, Kennington Park. She and her son were admitted to the Newington Workhouse, Westmoreland Road, the following day and were discharged "To Friends" after breakfast on 1 July 1893 when Sydney was 14 days old. The birth was registered on 7 July 1893. Sydney (sic) EDGOOSE died at Tydd St. Mary, Lincolnshire, on 12 July 1893 and was buried there three days later. He was described as the son of Kate EDGOOSE, a domestic servant and housemaid. A.
