NOTES & QUERIES:
Laurette Avenda ROGERS wrote in 2006 that she had in her posession letters dated 1937 from his sister Marion to her nephew Frederick J. TICKLER. It appears that Frederick William TICKLER left the main family behind after some argument with Robert Preston TICKLER in 1886 and had no further contact with his father, mother, or sisters. Tradition has it that he wanted to train as a doctor but his father refused to finance his training.
(penfeidr@care4free.net)
Frederick William TICKLER was the only one of Robert Preston and Mary Ann TICKLER's children to marry.
Hilary MAXFIELD's mother was a TICKLER>
