William WADE was a 23 year old bachelor, a clicker, of 17 Kent Street, New Bridge Street, Leicester, and son of William WADE, a deceased shoemaker. Mary Jane PACKER was a 27 year old widow of the same address, daughter of Richard Buckley LANCELEY, a deceased corn factor. Witnesses were Charles Henry GACENOUGH and Emily WADE.

He died of hemoptysis at 4 Castle Street, Leicester, on 20 May 1882 aged 24. His occupation was shoe clicker. His mother Jemima WADE of 17 Kent Street, Leicester, informed the registrar. Surprisingly, although she could write she made her mark.
