The wedding took place at the Church of St. John the Baptist, Busbridge, on Saturday of Mr. Leslie C.
LITTLE, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. L. W. LITTLE of Nassau, Bahamas, and Miss Jane EDGOOSE,
youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. T. J. EDGOOSE, of Tree Tops, The Close, Godalming.
The bride's father is a director of W.L. Edgoose Ltd., the timber importers, of Aldershot and Godalming.
The service was conducted by Canon I. J. CRESSWELL (rector) and the organist was Mr. WHITEHOUSE.
Given away by her father, the bride wore an empire-line gown, with full-length train of nylon crepe and guipure lace and carried a bouquet of lilies-of-the-valley, white freesias and pale pink roses.
Her attendants were the Misses Rachael and Judith EDGOOSE and Miss Patience EDGOOSE (niece
of the bride)
They wore full length turquoise blue and white striped Swiss cotton dresses and carried posies of
freesias and roses.
The best man was Mr. David RUTTER and the ushers were Mr. Michael EDGOOSE (brother of the
bride) and Mr. Adrian TOWNING.
A reception was held at the bride's home. The couple are spending their honeymoon in Scotland."
