Arthur TURNER married Caroline Eliza HALL, the 22 year old daughter of Frederick HALL, farmer, at Farnborough Parish Church on 8 November 1873. Arthur TURNER was described as a builder and son of Henry TURNER, painter. Witnesses were William Frederick HALL and Anne Ellen HAMMOND(?).

C. E. TURNER of Lynchford Road, Farnborough, Hampshire, daughter-in-law of Henry TURNER, informed the registrar of his death at The Green, Frimley, Surrey, on 15 April 1895 aged 79.

According to her son Arthur's obituary published in the Aldershot News & Farnborough Chronicle on 10 April 1925 she was buried "a day or two" before his second International match on 9 March 1901.
She died at Lynchford Road, Farnborough, Hampshire, on 24 February 1901 at the age of 49. She was described as the wife of Arthur TURNER, ironmonger and undertaker. Her sister Florence Ellen HALL of Park Road, Farnborough, Hampshire, was present at the death.

Caroline Eliza and Arthur TURNER were buried in the Victoria Road Cemetery, Farnborough, Hampshire. The inscription on the gravestone was legible in April 2007:
"In Loving Memory of CAROLINE ELIZA TURNER DIED FEBRUARY 24 1901 AGED 49 YEARS
Also of ARTHUR TURNER HUSBAND OF THE ABOVE DIED APRIL 8th. 1913 AGED 62 YEARS
UNTIL THE DAY BREAK AND THE SHADOWS FLEE AWAY."
