      John, son of John ABOURN [sic] by MARY, was baptised at Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire, on 8 October 1761.

      John ABORN junior, a 22 year old Pinchbeck bachelor, married Mary HAMMOND, a 23 year Pinchbeck widow, by licence at Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire, on 1 October 1783.

      In 1801 Mary ABORN aged 17, John Bate ABORN aged 14, and William ABORN aged 11, all children of John ABORN deceased, applied to the Court to have Francis GILBY of Pinchbeck replaced as their tutor, curator, and guardian by William SHEPPERSON of Pinchbeck, grazier. John FARDELL was the notary public and Octo JENNINGS and J. WOULDS were witnesses.
