His birth certificate shows him to have been born on 23 March 1858, son of Henry James HORRY baker and Judith LEWIN formerly HEDGOOSE (sic). The birth of a George HORRY was registered in 1858.

NOTES & QUERIES:
According to the LFHS Lincolnshire Probate Indexes, George HORRY's will was made on 13 January 1893 whilst he was living in West Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire.
In her will made on 23 November 1905 and proved in 1914 his mother Judith Lewin BYCROFT leaves legacies to all of her sons except George, but makes a point of making a bequest to her grandson George Cecil HORRY, only child of George HORRY (see EDGOOSE, Judith Lewin, for a transcript of the will).
